How about the rent?

Since our vacation house is no luxurious villa with service personal it is certainly not expensive at all. Below are the following prices of our two houses which include already costs for electricity (3KW/day) and water:

*Basic electricity needs is free (3 kilowatt/day), In the large house there is additional electrical equipment like water heater and air condition. Hence we regard it as fair to charge for extensive use of these energy eating facilities. Please help to add a small contribution in reducing CO2 and turn off air conditioned when you are not in the house.

Is the water clean?

Several times a day water will be pumped directly from a 15 m deep well on our property. So it is always fresh and clean, but like everywhere in the tropics it should be boiled before drinking. Again, in order to save energy, we kindly request that washing of clothes should be done in the pump area outside the house. Also please avoid extensive waste of water in your own interest because even the best well might fall dry if it is exploited without need.

How many people are allowed to stay in the house?

The large house has got one Bedroom House with 2 double beds – Good for maximum 4 adults or a family with three children. The other house is designed to offer space for two adults and 1 child. Exceeding number of persons staying in the house will be charged 100 Pesos per day per person. We don’t mind if you invite friends to stay overnight but we don’t like customers who think they can exploit this country and its wonderful people just because they own a few more dollars than the average Filipino. So there are no prostitutes allowed on our property and police will be called without warning if anything will be noticed like child abuse or anything else perversely.

Certainly hotels offer a bit more but prices in Philippines are almost the same like in Europe or the States. And here you have all the tranquillity and privacy you won't be able to find in town.  So we think these prices are a very fair price and no reason to complain.
